Annelise Andersen

Annelise Andersen is the RELIEF Communications and Impact Officer at the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP). She is responsible for the IGP's communications strategy and the communications outputs of RELIEF. Prior to this role she worked in communications and engagement for the Wellcome Trust and the UK Collaborative on Development Sciences. Her academic background is in Music (University of Oxford) and Anthropology (Durham University). Annelise began her professional life working in arts management. She has held various roles in large and small international arts organisations, including Verbier Classical Music Festival, the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle and Opera North in Leeds. Annelise now specialises in communication for development, using her creative background to bring stories from all over the world to life.
